Applus+ IMA Dresden is now an officially recognised testing site for your WRAS approval.
This means that we test on behalf of WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) and WRAS in turn awards the approval – after passing relevant testing programmes in accordance with the Test Code Sheets and regulations.
This is particularly interesting for Applus+ IMA Dresden’s international clients, because in the UK, plumbing and sanitary products, such as pipe systems, fittings, taps, valves, have to meet the requirements according to WRAS specifications. For this, Applus+ IMA Dresden had to go through the WRAS laboratory inspections in advance, which ensure that Applus+ IMA Dresden is suitable as a WRAS test site.
But this approval is not only recognised in Europe: Clients from whole world also frequently want WRAS approvals, in addition to DVGW certification, short for Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfachs (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). It is considered an additional seal of quality.
