SANITARY & BUILDING VALVES AND WATER TREATMENT

The range of services is supplemented by tests of the whole range of valves including various forms of water treatment devices. Additional to physical, hydraulic and mechanical testing IMA Dresden also offer acoustic testing.

Acoustic Tests

We check the noise characteristics of fittings and devices of water installations by measuring the valve noise level. For this purpose, the sound emitted by the valves is transmitted onto a measuring wall in our special testing laboratory, which records the airborne sound.

As an accredited institution body, we support you far beyond type testing:

OUR ACCredition and Recognitions

With several accreditations and recognitions, IMA Dresden has demonstrated competence, independence and performance.

• Accreditation of testing laboratories

  All of the testing laboratories are accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Flexible accreditation allows us to test materials and components according to different standards, as well as developing new testing procedures.

  DAkkS-accredited inspection body

  For many years, IMA Dresden has been recognized by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) as an accredited Type A inspection body in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020.

  This includes the inspection of plastic or plastic composite components in structural and civil engineering.

  DAkkS-accredited certification body

  For many years, IMA Dresden has been recognised by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) as an accredited certification body in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065.

  This applies to the certification of pipes and pipework systems for water and gas supply and wastewater disposal, as well as sandwich elements and glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GRP) construction profiles.

  DVGW testing laboratory

  DVGW CERT GmbH recognises IMA Dresden as a DVGW testing laboratory for water (LW-BU0023).

  DIN CERTCO testing laboratory

  IMA Dresden is recognised by DIN CERTCO Gesellschaft für Konformitätsbewertung mbH as a DIN CERTCO testing laboratory for plastic piping (PL 121).

  AGFW testing body

  The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fernwärme (AGFW) in Frankfurt am Main recognises IMA Dresden as a testing body for plastic sheath piping.

  EHP testing body

  IMA Dresden is recognised by Euroheat & Power (EHP) as an Accredited Testing and Certification Body for Plastic Piping and Fittings.

  IMA Dresden is recognized by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt)
  as an inspection and certification body according to the State Building Regulations for the construction products listed in the recognition notice in the regulated and non-regulated areas (SAC 08).
