It’s one of the most important trade fairs in the automotive sector – and IMA Dresden will be there, together with Applus+ Laboratories: we will be presenting together at the Automotive Testing Expo (ATE) in Stuttgart from 21 to 23 June 2022. At stand 1622, visitors can see for themselves the synergies generated by our integration into the Applus+ Group in May last year. They come into play especially in our services for the automotive industry, as we serve different areas, both of which are important in automotive engineering. For example, IMA Dresden specialises in mechanical and environmental testing of structures, materials and other electrical components. We have differentiated expertise in the areas of structural and component testing, hexapod testing, media-carrying systems and environmental simulations. Our testing and simulations enable our clients to understand the true limitations of their parts and then design and improve them accordingly.
Applus+ Laboratories, on the other hand, is one of Europe’s leading test providers for automotive electronics, whether for electric, hybrid or combustion vehicles. The laboratory network has unique capabilities in EMC and environmental testing. These were further expanded earlier this year with an extensive semi-anechoic chamber for full vehicle testing, as well as new test equipment for e-motors and battery packs. In addition, Applus+ Laboratories’ cybersecurity team is helping automotive manufacturers protect against new cyber threats.
