Eight students headed for Dresden Airport today. But not to fly off on holiday, but to take a look behind the scenes. Together with a teacher, the 13th grade students from the mechanical engineering advanced course at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Meißen-Radebeul deepened their knowledge in the area of “Innovative materials and selected materials testing methods”. The testing experts provided insights into the testing methods used at Applus+ IMA Dresden, the materials to be tested and compared plastic, metal and fibre-reinforced plastic. We were very pleased with the interest and hope to see some of the talent again in a few years.
