A little bit of space in Dresden

Header_Social_Media_Mondlandung_2022_Englisch

20 July 1969: Neil Armstrong is the first man to set a foot on the moon as part of the Apollo mission at 3.56 am CET. The breakthrough in space travel! On the annual Space Exploration Day, the focus is on scientific and technical achievements in space exploration. Even Saxony is not as clueless in space exploration as one might think – after all, the first German space traveller, Sigmund Jähn, came from Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz. Applus+ IMA Dresden is also part of space research: we test components for space travel, for example as part of the European Ariane VI programme.
