WIAM and MOOVINV announce their new partnership at Aeromart Tolouse 2022
WIAM and MoovinV are pleased to announce their new partnership. Together, the two companies will focus on streamlining cost estimating, material/supplier selection and the purchasing process for Aerospace manufacturers.
MoovinV, based in Canada, with offices in Europe, USA, and Asia, efficiently connects buyers and sellers of certified surplus Aerospace products, via an innovative online marketplace. In addition, their Aerospace Cost Estimation Software (CPQ Aero) and Virtual Buyer Assistant (VBA) focuses on reducing time spent on parts estimation and material sourcing.
WIAM and Applus+ IMA Dresden are one of the key players in the market of material and test data management across all industries, including Aerospace. Its software products, WIAM® MaterialsHub and WIAM® LabDataHub, simplifies engineering material selection, evaluation, and approval processes as well as laboratory automation and material card creation.
In this partnership, WIAM will provide material parameters for the MoovinV VBA platform. A “Material Selector” tool will enable customers to look for suitable alternative materials and suppliers. This simple tool provides the opportunity to increase the efficiency of the sourcing process and reduce engineering time spent for material approval.
Aeromart is one of the most important aviation trade fairs worldwide and offers exhibitors the opportunity to arrange one-on-one meetings, meet suppliers and network. In addition, the topic of digitization is also in the foreground this year – an important topic that WIAM and MoovinV aim to promote together.
